Let it be known the Steve the Red Pikmin shall live on, and honestly speaking I have no complaints other than it's just typical artwork.

yeah, it's way too boring i feel
His hair has a very muddy paint job and the character in general seems to be an after thought. I mean the character looks very quickly drawn whereas the environment looks very detailed.
I honestly didn't expect the background to turn out as well as it did, which is too bad for the character itself. I'll try to draw more detailed characters in the future now that I know that I can accomplish something like this. And yeah, I'm still messy with hair shading so maybe I'll work on drawing hair better too.
The blending on the leg was not needed keeping it clean and 2d would be nicer like how it was done with the face.
Thanks for the response. I felt the leg needed more definition against Mitsuru's body.
It looks very nice, and hey I found this tutorial that looks awfully familiar, did you create this tutorial?

It wasn't that one.
Phenomenal blending! Do you have your own website or speed paint videos? I'd love to learn your hyper realistic technique.
Not really :S only a deviantart I am afraid :S. If you search 'JoshSummana Devianatart' I will come up :)
As for the technique.. its just practice :S I used to ask the same thing all the time. But it literally just is practice, trial and error lol.
Her left arm looks horribly broken and the entire composition is simply uninteresting.
You seem to have that typical mentality of young anime artists, you shade areas because you believe that's what "needs" to be shaded without taking into consideration the strength and angle of the light source. Interesting choice in her outfit, but with her being an anatomical mess, it just seems off.
thank you i appreciate it ill work on my anatomy and shading .
???
I see that many of your reviews revolve around making your own content from scratch, and here we have Uncle Sam.
I should have added more detail in teh description. It was a Flyer, for work. They wanted uncle sam, which I could have scrapped up with vectors, but I had a time limit - and they wanted a retro feel. So - the wanted the real deal.
Also the eagle was scratch, and the arrow vector was scratch. - and the reviews ive left for people needing to draw from scratch - were to the ONE individual, who made a arial text, with a blue traced ...texture? behind it - and he wanted real advice. - Ive also drawn from scratch on many other things. Lol. Silly.
After all the reviews you do, after all the pieces of artwork you've "analyzed"...this is what you put out?
For shame
I come back here sometimes....
